The Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Football Team are set to square off this Sunday in a key divisional game. Washington, winners of four straight games, can pull to within one game of Dallas for the NFC East lead. The Cowboys, laden with Super Bowl expectations, can't afford to let that happen. With so many things on the line, one would expect the players to be testy. This time, it was head coach Mike McCarthy, who guaranteed a Cowboys win, prompting a Freudian response from Washington head coach Ron Rivera.

That is a good response from Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has already provided all of the bulletin board material that Washington needs with his Freudian slip.

In a power move, Rivera told his players that what McCarthy said is “not important”, because he knew that the Cowboys head coach was trying to get into his players' heads. Let's be real though. That's not what Rivera actually said to the Washington Football Team.

He probably went into that locker room all fired up, played a video of what McCarthy said and then gave a passionate, expletive-laden speech about how the Cowboys head coach has no respect for the Washington Football Team and what they're capable of.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall in the Washington Football Team locker room. Fortunately, football fans and fans of Washington and the Cowboys will get the next best thing. They'll get to see the two teams and two head coaches in Mike McCarthy and Ron Rivera, face off on Sunday after this war of words.
