It's been over five years since Dez Bryant had the controversial catch/no-catch against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs, but the Dallas Cowboys fans haven't let former NFL referee Dean Blandino forget about the call.

For those who have forgotten the play, Bryant appeared to make a catch that would set the Cowboys up right outside the end zone. It was called a catch on the field, but later overturned and the Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs.

Blandino was the one working that game and he said that is probably the play he remembers most of his time in the NFL because Cowboys fans don't let him forget about what happened.

“The one call that I don’t necessarily think about all that much but people won’t let me forget it was Dez Bryant,” he said on the High Motor podcast. “Under the rule, that was the right call.”

Blandino said the most hate comes on Twitter and it doesn't matter what he tweets out, there is some Cowboys fan in his mention bringing up the play.

“Any time I tweet about anything, there’s always one person that will tweet, ‘Dez caught it,'” he said. “I appreciate the passion fans have.”

Cowboys fans have always been known to be passionate, but it might be time for the fans to focus on something else, not something that happened a long time ago. It's good that Blandino doesn't seem to take it to heart and just shakes it off as Cowboys fans being passionate.
