The Dallas Cowboys are clearly in the driver's seat when it comes to holding off the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins in the NFC East title race. Jason Garrett's team has been one of the hottest in the NFL over the past month or so, as the Cowboys have managed to rack up five straight wins since their 28-14 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

That's helped Dallas move into a great spot at the top of the division standings, and it seems likely that Dak Prescott and company will stay there, according to Pro Football Focus. Pro Football Focus gives the Cowboys a 98.7 percent chance to wrap up the AFC East crown, while the struggling Eagles and Redskins each sit at under one percent.

These numbers make sense now that Philly and Washington find themselves at 6-7 overall on the season. To make matters worse for those two teams, the Eagles play the angry Los Angeles Rams this week while the Redskins will be on their fourth starting quarterback of the year in their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That should have things set up nicely for the Cowboys, who will hit the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. After that, Dallas will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants to wrap up the regular season.

But at this point, it seems like a team that once appeared hopeless after a rough 3-5 start is now completely reinvigorated thanks to the impressive stretch over the past several weeks.
