Randy Gregory couldn't help but fire back at Jerry Jones after the Dallas Cowboys owner tried to explain once again why they failed to re-sign the now Denver Broncos outside linebacker.

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Jones claimed that the reason they were unable to re-sign Gregory was because his “got too high for the team.” He then went on to share that they didn't want to put millions of dollars on a player with questionable availability, hence the decision to let him walk away.

“If you’ve got a big question mark on availability, do you want to strap on millions and millions of dollars, Jones said, per Jori Epstein of USA Today.

Upon seeing Jerry Jones' comments from NFL reporter Marcus Mosher, Randy Gregory commented and advised the Cowboys boss to just move on.

“Hell hath no fury like a scorned….owner? Mans needs to let it go and go find his war daddy already,” the Broncos star wrote.

For what it's worth, Jones' comments don't make sense, which is why Gregory's call-out is understandable. According to previous reports, the Broncos signed Gregory to the same offer he agreed with the Cowboys before his U-Turn.

The 29-year-old OL has since claimed that the Cowboys “acted in bad faith” during contract negotiations, with reports citing that the team made a tweak on their previously agreed-upon deal.

As Gregory said, it might be better off for Jones and the Cowboys to move on from the rather controversial offseason free agency. Besides, as Jones himself said, he is pretty confident with their current roster and their ability to contend in the postseason.
