While Rob Gronkowski is trending for his announcement on Tuesday at 9:00 pm ET, he is taking shots at the Dallas Cowboys offense. On the FOX pre-game show on Sunday, Gronkowski stated that Dak Prescott and Co. could use a tight end with his abilities, who would have thought?

I feel like the Cowboys could use a tight end like myself … I'm just saying that if they had one to go up into the red zone, they would be winning games,” said Gronkowski, via Damon Marx of The Dallas Morning News.

In other news, water is wet.

Every single team in NFL history could use the talents of Gronkowski. Though now in retirement, Gronkowski was the most dominant tight end of the 2010s. Frankly, it's not even close. His nine-year stretch, though hampered by injuries, was one of the greatest in NFL history.

From 2010 to 2019, Gronkowski reeled in 521 receptions for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns. In just his second season in the NFL, he led the league in touchdowns with 17. In the process, he won three Super Bowls, went to the Pro-Bowl five times, won 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year and was named to the first-team All-Pro four times.

Gronkowski is guaranteed a spot on the Hall of Fame, no matter if he retired early or not. The Cowboys could certainly use that talent, even if they had a George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz or any current great tight end. Gronk is a different breed.

Dallas would — obviously — benefit from him wearing a star on his helmet.
