Veteran defensive end Robert Quinn is primed to make his Dallas Cowboys debut on Sunday. Coming off of a two-game suspension (PEDs) and hand surgery, it's unknown how much he'll play against his former team, the Miami Dolphins.

More likely than not, the Cowboys will limit Quinn's snaps against a weaker opponent. However, if the team needs him to play heavy snaps — after practicing with the starters — he can do that.

“If you ask a man what he can and can’t do, I’m sure he’s going to tell you he can do everything,” Quinn said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “So if they need me to play 50-60 snaps, that’s what I have to do.”

Quinn doesn't have any statistical goals for Sunday. It's all about making the 2-0 Cowboys the 3-0 Cowboys. As he said, “just get a W for the team,” is his goal for his 2019 debut.

“I realize, don’t try to make things more than what it is. Me coming back, the team has been doing well, so I’m just coming back, trying to contribute as best I can and not let this team down in any way, shape or form. I don’t want overwork myself, overhype myself. It’s a football game. As a team, we want to do one thing and that’s win. As a player and individual, we’ve got individual game goals, but at the end of the day, it just comes down to winning as a team.”

The Cowboys sent a 2020 sixth-round pick to acquire Quinn from Miami in the offseason.

A former All-Pro, the defensive end tallied 6.5 sacks and 15 quarterback hits in his lone season with the Dolphins.
