Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee has been on the team for 10 seasons and seen some solid Cowboys team, but he is calling this one the most talented. According to Jon Machota of The Athletic Lee thinks this team is so talented because all of the groups are strong, not just one.

“I’d say top to bottom it’s as much talent as I’ve been around. You look at every single group, how much they’ve played, the experience, the talent. And then the guys’ love for football. It’s throughout the entire team.”

There is no doubt that this Cowboys team has a lot of talent, but one of the star players is still missing. Ezekiel Elliott is still holding out looking for a new contract, and there might be no end in sight. Earlier this week Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said they wanted Elliott back for the dog days of the season, which might hint it could be a while before he is back.

“We’ve got a marathon here,” Jones said earlier this week via ProFootballTalk. “We want Zeke when we get to the playoffs. We want Zeke when we’re in the dog days of the season.”

Zeke is a big part of the Cowboys offense and if he isn't on the team Week 1, then that is going to be a big hit the talent of the roster, and how the offense functions. With Elliott on the team, Lee is right, this is a talented roster that should have big-time expectations.
