Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is entering his 10th season heading into 2019, and it's clear the veteran linebacker has a lot to contemplating ahead of next season. Lee has a long list of injuries that has prevented him from ever playing out a full season. He's played and started in 15 games twice in his career but has never been able to play all 16.

When asked on “The Ticket,” Lee seemed very optimistic about playing next season, and he intends to play as of right now from what he told the radio station.

“I want to continue to play the game, but I have to evaluate physically where I'm at. I definitely have some decisions to make.”

Lee's talent has never been in question, but his ability to stay on the field and avoid injuries has plagued his career from the start.

After missing the entire 2014 season with a torn ACL after suffering the injury in OTA's, Lee came back stronger than ever. The Cowboys prized linebacker posted fantastic seasons in 2015 and 2016. He had a career-high 145 tackles combined in 2016 and even had a solid 2017 season, but missed five games. His outstanding 2016 season lead to his first and only First-Team All-Pro appearance.

Luckily for the Cowboys, they have two promising young linebackers in Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith. The two linebackers have credited Lee in the success they had this season. It's clear once Lee calls it a career, Dallas will have a solid backup at the position.
