Sean Lee has been the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys' defense for years but has also dealt with plenty of nagging injuries. That has been the case once again this season with Lee suffering through hamstring issues. Dallas is hoping to have him back soon, but he will miss their Week 6 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to a report from David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, Lee is out for Week 6 vs. the Jaguars.

Dallas has struggled so far this season, getting off to a 2-3 start. There has been a lot of drama surrounding the team, especially following last week's loss to the Houston Texans.

Throughout the first three games of the season that he has been able to play, Lee has racked up 20 total tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks, and a defended pass. His numbers may not look huge, but his presence on the field is a huge plus.

Lee should be able to return at some point in the next couple of games. It would be surprising if he misses much more than next week.

ESPN currently has the Cowboys listed as the No. 9 overall defense in the NFL. That has been without Lee for half of the games they have played. Dallas should be very proud of the way their defense has played without their veteran leader on the field.

Jaylon Smith has picked up the majority of slack left by Lee's absence. He has recorded 41 tackles, three sacks, and a defended pass.

Expect to see Lee back on the field soon in Dallas. It won't be this week, but he isn't far off, and his return will be welcomed with open arms.
