Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken talked to Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee after the game and asked him about the significance of their win over the Rams. He stated that Dallas is ‘lucky' to be in a position to a playoff spot next Sunday.

The inconsistent nature of the Cowboys' play this season has been a significant contributor to the team's 7-7 record. They have experienced two separate losing streaks of at least three consecutive losses. As a result, they were unable to clinch the NFC East title earlier and still could potentially lose it.
It's no surprise that Jason Garrett has found himself on the hot seat again. There has been no shortage of underachieving results given how talented of a roster he has to work with. It is difficult to envision him returning beyond this season, but that's especially the case if the Cowboys fail to win the NFC East.
It's worth noting that Jerry Jones has yet to make a decision regarding the future of the head coaching role, according to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News. It's likely that many effective coaches will have an interest in a head coaching role with a talented roster and iconic organization.
There is still plenty to be determined about the Cowboys' future. The simplest of all to control is preparing for their showdown with the Eagles in Week 16.
