The Dallas Cowboys have a new offensive coordinator in former NFL quarterback Kellen Moore. While Moore's playing days didn't really pan out as initially expected, it appears as though the former NFL signal caller has become a legitimate presence as an assistant coach en route to landing his current role in Dallas.

However, that doesn't mean that everyone under the Cowboys umbrella is thrilled that Dallas ultimately went with Moore as the once heralded franchise's next offensive coordinator.

“While everyone is saying the right things about Kellen Moore as the Cowboys’ new offensive coordinator, there is an undercurrent of uncertainty,” Calvin Watkins of The Athletic recently wrote. “Moore is a quiet presence and a pair of team officials are not sure if that helps him. One team source questions whether Moore can command a room and another indicated he’s never heard him speak too loudly. If you see the current coaching staff, from Rod Marinelli, Kris Richard, Gary Brown, Marc Colombo and even Garrett, they enter meeting rooms and walk onto practice fields with presence. Moore is an unassuming coach who developed a good relationship with Prescott.”

The Cowboys, though, are fresh off a trip to the postseason with the trio of quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott and former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper serving as a lethal threat in all facets of the game.

Nonetheless, the Cowboys offense as a whole will now be forced to align itself with Moore's scheme before the start of the upcoming campaign.
