There are a number of intriguing aspects surrounding this week's NFC Divisional Round between the Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys. Among the more notable matchups will be wide receiver Amari Cooper versus the cornerback tandem of Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters.

Cooper has gotten well-acquainted with both players over the years as former members of the AFC West Division.

Via David Helman of the team's official website, Cooper plans on using his familiarity with Talib and Peters to his advantage:

“I’ve played against those guys twice a year, both of them. I know them in and out,” Cooper said. “I know how they play, and I’m able to tell my teammates, the quarterback their tendencies.”

This Saturday will be a bit of an AFC West reunion between the three of these players. Although they made the jump to the NFC last year, nothing has changed in terms of competitiveness. It is safe to assume that Cooper will be giving his teammates insight on Talib and Peters and vice versa.

It is no secret that Dallas will look to establish the run game early on. Running back Ezekiel Elliott should have plenty of space to work with against a porous rush defense. However, they will still need to find a way to balance out the offense if they are going to keep up with this high-powered Rams offense.

Although Los Angeles has struggled to contain the pass at times throughout the 2018 campaign, their talented secondary is more than capable of holding their own if the Cowboys are unable to expose them. Quarterback Dak Prescott will rely heavily on Cooper to beat the coverage on Saturday.
