Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Zack Martin has been a regular fixture in the Dallas O-line ever since he was drafted sixteenth overall in 2014. He has been the epitome of health and consistency for America's Team, but something changed last season.

He missed the first two games of his NFL career due to a niggling back injury. One of which was a trip home to Indianapolis. Moreover, he wasn't able to join his team for preseason to address his back.

However, he revealed to the official Dallas Cowboys website is that he has grand plans for the season:

“My goal is to be out there for every game this season,” Martin said following Tuesday’s practice at Ford Center. “Knowing that my teammates can count on me week in and week out, I take great pride in that. That’s something that I’m working to get back to.”

For a player who has been a regular to the Pro Bowl and the First-Team All-Pro teams, this is not a weird standard to set. He is a great asset in any line, and Dak Prescott is happy to have such an elite athlete helping protect him.

Things are looking up for the Cowboys over the past 12 months. They finished at the top of a competitive NFC East division. They also sent the LA Rams to the edge in what was an entertaining Division match. Their preseason heroics also give the Cowboy Nation a lot to look forward to.

Add an elite lineman to this already-impressive Cowboys roster, and it should be another successful season for America's Team.
