The Dallas Cowboys made a big change this past offseason when they fired longtime head coach Jason Garrett and replaced him with Mike McCarthy. The former Super Bowl winner was supposed to finally bring the best out of the talented team after years of disappointment.

Instead, the Cowboys have started 2-4 in 2020, and it doesn't look like things are going too well in the locker room. After an embarrassing 38-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football, the players are tossing McCarthy and the coaching staff under the bus:

It's obviously fair to take a report like this with a grain of salt, but it would make sense for Cowboys players to be frustrated with the situation. There seem to be some clear issues in terms of coaching, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Mike McCarthy was supposed to come in and clean things up, but so far, the results haven't been pretty in Dallas.

Now, to be fair, you can't blame everything on the coaching staff. Dak Prescott recently went down with a season-ending injury, and there have been other injury issues. You can also point to some key players not performing, such as Ezekiel Elliott as he continues to deal with major fumbling issues.

Things are certainly getting interesting in Dallas with this leak coming from Cowboys players. Saying “they just aren't good at their jobs” and calling the staff out for being “totally unprepared” are quite the statements.

Let's see where it all goes from here, but it won't be all that surprising if things get blown up in Jerry's World sooner rather than later. Though, hilariously enough, the 2-4 Cowboys are still sitting atop the woeful NFC East. It's going to be an interesting rest of the season in Dallas.
