Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not often to speak to the media in a matter of fact manner. Although he has committed to head coach Jason Garrett there could be different plans in the future. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk states that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton's name continuously comes into conversation closely related to the Cowboys.

Payton would most likely scoff at the idea of leaving the Super Bowl-bound Saints. Jones spoke to 105.3 The Fan, a Dallas radio station, and suggested nothing is off limits in regards to changes for the Cowboys, via Pro Football Talk.

“Why would I put some kind of statement out that says this is what we’re going to do when we might have an opportunity here next week? This is the time when these things are thought about. This is the time when they are chewed on. This is when you may see an opportunity next week that you didn’t know existed this week in the area of personnel or in the area of coaching. And I’m not trying to be cute here. I’m just saying that one of the advantages that we have is that we can operate with that kind of flexibility.”

Jones could offer Payton any kind of contract he would desire, but Payton has been fantastic with the Saints and it's unlikely he would part ways with the team under current circumstances. Payton has a close bond with his players and Jones may be thinking a blank check could sway Payton to leave the Saints. Speculations aside, it's highly unlike Payton coaches elsewhere next season.
