The Dallas Cowboys and backup-turned-starting quarterback Andy Dalton pulled off what only a few people expected to be possible: a win.

With the Cowboys taking on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, the visiting team stormed down the field in the final minutes of regulation en route to taking a three-point lead.

Dalton, a longtime member of the Cincinnati Bengals before ultimately coming over to Dallas this past offseason, found a wide-open Cowboys tight end in Dalton Schultz for a pivotal six points.

Fortunately for Andy Dalton and the Cowboys, they were able to hold off the Vikings to take a 31-28 victory. They now improve to 3-7-0, well in contention for the top spot in the atrocious NFC East.

The Philadelphia Eagles currently lead the Division with a 3-6-1 record, while the New York Giants and Washington Football Team are in the same standing as the Cowboys.
