Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper have looked very comfortable together throughout their first two games as teammates on the Dallas Cowboys. On Sunday night in the Cowboys' big 27-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the duo connected well again.

When everything was said and done, Prescott found Cooper six times for 75 yards. Even when throwing to other receivers, Prescott looked much more comfortable and in control than he has in recent weeks.

Throughout the entire game, Prescott completed 26 of his 36 pass attempts for 270 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions. He also ran for a touchdown in the game.

Cooper liked what he saw from his new quarterback last night. In a tweet shared by Jon Machota of the Dallas News, Cooper complimented Prescott for his performance against the Eagles.

Dallas now sits at 4-5 following the win. It was a must-win game for them to keep pace in the NFC playoff picture. Falling to 3-6 on the season would have been as close to a death warrant as a team could get at this point in the season.

Throughout the nine games the Cowboys have played, Prescott has received a lot of criticism from fans and the media. He has not played terribly, but he is not leading the Cowboys to wins at the rate that most think he should be.

Despite all of the criticism, he has remained positive. He has been a great teammate and from the quote that Cooper gave has stepped up as a leader as well.

Expect to see Prescott use that big win as a stepping stone to get back on track. Dallas needs to support him because he is going to be the Cowboys' quarterback for quite some time.
