A Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Remake called Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is coming this Winter 2022.

“The Price of Freedom is Steep.” The words were spoken by Zack Fair before his final clash with ShinRa soldiers in Crisis Core before he passed on the Buster Sword to FF7 protagonist Cloud Strife.  The new trailer opens up with these words, which definitely caused a lot of brains to explode during the live stream earlier.

Yes, the rumors are true, there's going to be a Crisis Core remake, and we're getting it for the PS5. It appears to be a straight-up remake of the original title, which will be released this Winter on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was originally an action role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable. Its original format makes it hard to replay these days, which makes this re-release more important.
