The rumors are true: Crytek has been remastering the old games to usher in Crysis 4.

Crysis 4 has officially been announced by Crytek, an announcement that may have made a lot of computers sweat in fear. The older Crysis games have always acted as a sort of technical benchmark for computers, and we're excited to see how Crytek will bring our current hardware to its limits. The game, however, is currently still in the very early stages of development, and Crytek is still hiring personnel for the project. The game will even eventually have a new name.
