After six months of being virtually unplayable, Cyberpunk 2077 finally hits a satisfactory level in terms of stability and performance – at least according to CD PROJEKT RED's CEO Adam Kiciński.

While speaking at the WSE Innovation Day, Kiciński told TVN24 about the recent patches for Cyberpunk 2077 and what their development team has been working on. “We have already reached a satisfactory level [of stability for Cyberpunk 2077]. We have also worked on the overall performance, and we are quite satisfied with that. Of course, we have also fixed bugs and glitches, and we will continue to do so. Over time, we will be introducing fixes to the general systems that players [have pointed out as needing improvement].” Kiciński says.

He didn't go into detail about what player-requested systems the dev team are working on. But some speculate that these may be basic in-game police responses, NPC AI, or improved character customization. All of which are crucial to making Cyberpunk 2077 work.

Now that Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store, Sony warned base PS4 players that there will still be issues in-game. CD PROJEKT RED promises to release “fixes and updates” throughout the year. Players who use PS4 pro and the PS5 should be fine, though. Hopefully, these fixes would get players to pick up their controllers once more and give the game another try. However, streamers and content creators always get a good laugh every new update, as they keep on finding the same bugs and glitches persisting in-game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on the PlayStation Store.
