After a heartbreaking loss in the final seconds of Week 1 and two statement wins in the weeks following, the Dallas Cowboys have the look of the obvious favorites to win the NFC East this year. This past week against the Philadelphia Eagles, Dalton Schultz and Ezekiell Elliott stole the show on offense, combining for four touchdowns and 196 yards from scrimmage. Anthony Brown and Trevon Diggs each came up with interceptions of Jalen Hurts, and Osa Odighizuwa notched 1.5 sacks as well.

In Week 4, the Cowboys will host the undefeated Carolina Panthers, who are fresh off of convincing wins against the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans, cementing themselves early on as one of the best defensive squads across all of football.

Will the Cowboys take yet another big win on their road to contention, or will Carolina keep their perfect season rolling after four games? There's a lot on the line with this matchup between two unlikely heavyweights. Here are 4 bold predictions for this Sunday's morning matchup between the Cowboys and Panthers.

Cowboys Week 4 Predictions

4. CeeDee Lamb explodes for huge game

In the early goings of the season, Lamb has been the most consistent producer out of the Cowboys receiving corps on offense, as he's racked up no less than 66 yards in each game thus far. Amari Cooper has had the biggest game – his Week 1 outburst for 13/139/2 – but he has faltered in the box score the past two weeks. Being that Lamb seems to be the Dak's favorite target when teams turn their attention to Cooper, that should give him plenty of opportunities on Sunday to exploit the Carolina secondary. They're a talented defense, but the Cowboys are arguably the league's most dynamic offense. Don't be surprised if Lamb notches 100 yards and a score.

3. Zeke, Pollard combine for 200 scrimmage yards

Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard absolutely shredded a solid Eagles front for over 150 yards on the ground for over 5.5 yards per carry each, and they'll have to keep it going Sunday to beat a legit Panthers squad. With Michael Gallup injured, a secondary that will be tough to beat over the top, and a linebacking corps that will make life difficult for Dallas tight ends, Dak will be handing it off and checking it down to Dallas backs throughout the whole contest, setting up a recipe for a huge game.

2. Trevon Diggs continues interception streak

Diggs has notched interceptions in each of the first three games of the season, and it appears his breakout is legitimate. He's a breakout star on defense, and he'll have plenty of opportunities to make splash plays on Sunday against Sam Darnold, a QB whose not particularly mistake-averse. With yet another pick, he's going to put the league on serious notice.

1. Cowboys end Panthers' undefeated season

The Panthers are a talented group, but they haven't faced an offense thus far anywhere near the caliber of Dallas. The Cowboys simply have too much firepower to hold down for long, and the Carolina offense isn't quite elite enough to dominate an opportunistic defense. The streak for Carolina ends here.

PREDICTION: Cowboys 34, Panthers 21
