With a Dallas Cowboys Week 6 game scheduled against the New England Patriots, a lot of eyes will be on America's team. It's why we'll be looking at the Cowboys-Patriots game with some predictions in mind.

It is hard to argue that the Dallas Cowboys are not far and away the best team in the NFC East division this season. With the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Football Team very rarely showing signs of life thus far into 2021-22, the Cowboys have jumped out to a 4-1 start, which has been highlighted by four consecutive wins after the team's narrow Week 1 loss on the road against the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the Cowboys most recently dismantling the arch rival Giants, it is the heralded New England Patriots up next for Dallas in Week 6 — though the AFC East franchise is only a mere shadow of itself with future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady now in the midst of his second stint down in Tampa Bay. Because the Cowboys are red hot at the present moment, and with the Patriots serving as one of the more middling teams in the AFC this season, look for Dallas to put on a show this time around en route to a well-rounded, blowout victory over New England.

If Dallas can improve to 5-1 on the year with a win over the Patriots, it will be all but over for Washington, New York, and Philadelphia in the NFC East this season.

Cowboys Week 6 Predictions

4. Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs will have not one, not two, but three interceptions

If the 2021-22 NFL regular season were to end today,  Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs would undoubtedly be the league's Defensive Player of the Year. Over the course of the first five games of the regular season, Diggs, who is currently in just his second professional campaign, has already picked off a whopping six passes. As a rookie last season, Diggs picked off three passes across 12 regular-season games. After an outstanding offseason for Dallas, Diggs is just showing off at this point as he has become the top ball hawk in the NFL — which has led the Cowboys to four straight victories heading into Sunday's matchup against the New England Patriots. With a rookie quarterback under center for New England in Mac Jones, expect Diggs to add another trio of interceptions to his highlight reel in Week 6.

3. WR Amari Cooper, RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR CeeDee Lamb will all score for Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most potent offenses in all of football, thanks to the presence of wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper alongside running back Ezekiel Elliott. That list of superstars doesn't even include quarterback Dak Prescott, tight end Dalton Schultz, running back Tony Pollard, or injured wideout Michael Gallup either. With the Cowboys' offense firing on all cylinders right now, expect the trio of Cooper, Lamb and Elliott to all find the end zone against the New England Patriots in Week 6. “Zeke” won't be the only one eating against the Patriots.

2. Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will throw for more than 400 yards, three touchdowns

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott hasn't thrown for more than 400 yards since back in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — the team's only loss of the season. However, Prescott has continued to play well ever since despite not surpassing such a threshold. With the Cowboys winning four consecutive games since losing down in Tampa Bay, Prescott will now throw for at least 400 yards in a win this time around as Dallas should take it to the New England Patriots in Week 6. Last week against the New York Giants, Prescott threw for 302 yards alongside three touchdowns while the veteran signal caller will keep it rolling into Dallas' looming matchup against the Patriots.

1. Dallas Cowboys will win and shutout New England Patriots in Week 6

While the offense of the Dallas Cowboys typically takes center stage when the heralded NFC East franchise is discussed, the team's defense will make Sunday's eventual win over the New England Patriots a well-rounded victory by shutting out the opposition. With the team's pass rusher getting better and better by the week despite some lingering injuries, which has coincided with the emergence of cornerback Trevon Diggs in the secondary, there just won't be much that the Patriots will be able to do to crack this unit — especially with a rookie quarterback in Mac Jones under center. Diggs should have a field day with Jones leading the way for the Patriots, a team with limited weapons in the passing attack. Not only will the Cowboys defeat the Patriots en route to improving to a nearly perfect 5-1 on the season, but New England won't even score a single point.
