In anticipation of the September 19th initial release date for NBA 2K18, the game development team has released player ratings in a strategic fashion building hype for their long-running game series. The ratings attributed to players supposedly reflect their real world performance, and players have no say on the rating other than what they produce on the court.

Damian Lillard, the Blazer's trustee point guard, recently caught wind of his player rating in 2K18 and admitted his true feelings about it.

“Honestly, I really don’t care,” Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard told Hoops Hype. “I’ve become less and less consumed with the credit that I’m given. I think 89 is a solid rating. But I should be up there with the best at my position.”

Lillard truly has other things to concern himself with off the basketball court, as he is on pursuit to release his second studio album, a task that takes up a majority of his time. Worrying about some silly rating in a video game only distracts Dame D.O.L.L.A. from his life goals, so it's no wonder he doesn't give a hoot.
