According to multiple reports, Charlie Murphy, brother of comedian and actor Eddie Murphy and a star from Chappelle's Show, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 57. Murphy had been dealing with health problems recently and passed away due to a battle with leukemia.
Perhaps best known for his “Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories” segments on Chappelle's Show, Murphy's outlandish tales of fighting with Rick James and playing basketball with Prince have become legendary. And with Murphy being such a well-known star, several members of the NBA, including Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, expressed their sorrow for his death on Twitter:
