As Kobe Bryant put the icing on the cake of his incredible 20-year NBA career last night, a number of NBA stars paid their respects to the Mamba.

From LeBron James to Dwyane Wade to stars from other sports such as Yasiel Puig and David Beckham, everybody seemed to be losing their collective minds by Kobe's final performance.

Include the Portland Trail BlazersDamian Lillard in that mix, who was absolutely stunned when he heard Bryant dropped 60 points on the Utah Jazz.

In his relatively young career, Lillard has already become a fan favorite in the city of Portland. The people love the tremendous effort he gives every night, and his apparently loyalty to staying with the franchise longterm  has endeared him to the fanbase.

That doesn't mean he isn't in demand else where.

One Lakers fan suggested to Lillard that he come to Los Angeles. His response was telling.

Chalk up another case of Lillard showing his loyalty to Portland. It will be tough for Damian to replicate the unbelievable career that Bryant had, but if he's able to bring a championship or two to a town starved for a winner, his legacy might resemble Kobe's in L.A.
