Dan Hooker made the move back to featherweight for his co-main event at UFC London against Arnold Allen. Dana White was at the post-fight interview and gave his reaction to the fight.

Dan Hooker is in excellent graces with the UFC. His willingness to take any fight has been looked at favorably and the promotion thinks highly of the New Zealand-based fighter.

Dana White had positive things to say about Dan Hooker at UFC London and reflected the promotion's attitude about him. He believes he should be able to do whatever he wants next after fighting Arnold Allen.

“That’s up to him,” White told MMA Junkie and other reporters at the UFC Fight Night 204 post-fight news conference. “He came in and performed tonight. He made weight, he came in and went to war with a guy who’s undefeated in this weight class and he can do whatever he wants to.”

Taking every fight he can has been a detriment to Dan Hooker's career lately. The Islam Makhachev fight at UFC 267 was extremely risky for anyone and it did not pay off in his case.

The Arnold Allen fight was a tough one for any fighter. Especially fighting him in his home country at UFC London. Allen was undefeated in the promotion and is a top-ranked featherweight. Hooker had not fought at featherweight for many years.

It is not clear what is next for Dan Hooker after UFC London as even Dana White doesn't appear to have an answer. Many are hoping he moves back up to lightweight but there is currently no word.
