Danny Green might not be an NBA superstar, but he has a championship pedigree to his name. The veteran has now won three titles with three different teams and is in pursuit of his fourth with the Philadelphia 76ers. When it comes to his personal life, Green has been dating a special woman for about six years now and finally proposed last summer just before the Lakers went to Orlando and won an NBA championship. Bashen was born on February 7th, 1989 in Houston, Texas. She is actually the daughter of famous inventor and entrepreneur Janet Bashen, who was named one of the top 100 most influential African-Americans in business by Ebony Magazine. Even more interesting, her grandmother was the first black nurse in Huntsville, Alabama during the 1950s in the segregated South. She is half black and half white and is currently 31-years-old.
Bashen is a former athlete herself, playing four years of college volleyball at Purdue University. She played in all 34 matches in her senior season, serving as the team's Libero, considering she's just 5 foot 10. However, she's no stranger to basketball. Bashen played all throughout high school, captaining the basketball and volleyball teams at St. Johns High School in Houston. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University in 2012 and according to Celebrity Spy, holds the professional title of Organizational Development Consultant and Staff Accountant at the Bashen Corporation.
Green and Bashen aren't afraid to show their love for each other on social media. The NBA sharpshooter has posted numerous photos with his fiancee, including this one when he proposed to her in 2020 on a beach in Ventura, California:

While Green has more than 1 million followers on his Instagram page, Bashen also has around 25k followers on the app. You'd have to believe she got most of her popularity from being with Green, who is a well-known figure throughout the NBA world.
While the two are clearly happy together, there are always going to be ups and downs of dating a celebrity. Following Game 5 of the NBA Finals when the Lakers lost to the Miami Heat, both Green and Bashen revealed they received death threats on social media because he missed a crucial shot at the buzzer. This is what Green had to say about it, via the New York Post:
“I haven’t really paid (attention). I don’t really pay…I just block, ignore. I’ve gotten so many messages I can’t even hit the delete alt button. I just don’t read them,” Green said before Sunday’s Game 6. “I know she doesn’t get as many and she doesn’t have as many followers so it’s probably closer, she can see more of it.
However, it didn't seem to faze the veteran as LA went onto win it all, anyway. But, I'm sure it bothered Bashen a lot more. Here's Bashen wishing her soon to be husband a happy birthday while they both hold the Larry O'Brien Trophy:

It's not exactly known how the two met, but she has been riding with Green since his San Antonio Spurs days. We don't know when the couple will tie the knot, but we'd have to imagine it will be relatively soon considering they got engaged last summer.
Green and Bashen really do make the perfect duo. Both are athletic, successful, and super, super cute together. They hit the lottery to find one another.
