It's a loaded free-agent class filled with big-name defensive stars like Dante Fowler Jr. The Los Angeles Rams would probably love to bring back him back but with all their money wrapped up in Jared Goff, they probably have other needs they need to fill.

According to spotrac.com, they are projected to have under $20 million in cap space. Pass rushers are in high demand and Fowler Jr. is going to get a big contract after recording 56 tackles and 11.5 sacks during the 2o19 season.

He is going to be in high demand, but some teams make more sense than the others. Let's breakdown the three best landing spots for Fowler's services.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks knew they needed help with defensive end and that's why they brought in Jadeveon Clowney via trade. This offseason it's going to be a priority that the team doesn't take a step back with pass rushers. Dante Fowler can play linebacker and he can also put his hand on the ground and rush the passer.

If the team brings back Clowney, Fowler is probably off the table, but if Clowney decides to move on to a different team, they should take a hard look at Clowney.

New England Patriots

The Patriots need to get some playmakers on offense, but if they have extra money after doing that, having a guy like Fowler on defense, would be a great addition.

John Simon was a fine defensive end for the Patriots last season, but they could use an upgrade. Especially with the questions surrounding the offense, the defense might need to be leaned on more heavily.

Getting a big contract and having a chance to win a Super Bowl. Would more could you ask for?

The Houston Texans still have J.J. Watt, but they haven't been able to fill the void left by Jadeveon Clowney when he was shipped off to the Seattle Seahawks.

Deshaun Watson is entering the final year of his deal, so the team should take advantage of this last year with him under his rookie contract.

Giving Dante Fowler Jr. a front-loaded deal would make a lot of sense. The team needs to be a win-now mode and should go all out to try and win a championship this season. Fowler could be the guy to push them over the edge.

Fowler Jr. is going to have options this offseason with many teams wanting his services, and whoever he signs with is going to become instantly better.
