A few days prior to the Rio Olympics, two European powerhouses locked horns in an exhibition match.

World number five France was defeated by Croatia, 76-70, who is listed as the 12th best team in men’s basketball, per FIBA.

In this contest, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Dario Saric had a brilliant all-around performance as he scored 18 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists.

Saric has been very good lately. In the FIBA Qualifying Tournament held in Turin, he was able to bag Most Valuable Player honors after averaging 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 2.2 assists throughout the entire competition.

The Sixers organization is very high on Dario Saric, for obvious reasons, and fans can only hope that the Olympics will further help in the development of their player.
