As the 2019 NFL season continues to draw closer, the Green Bay Packers are one of the most intriguing teams to keep an eye on. After two years of missing the playoffs, the team went through major changes this offseason. One thing that didn't change was the presence of star wide receiver Davante Adams.

Green Bay made the decision to fire longtime head coach Mike McCarthy in the middle of last season. He simply wasn't getting the job done and the team had to move on. To replace him, the team went out and hired Matt LaFleur after one season as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.

Last season with the Packers, Adams was one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL. He ended up catching 111 passes for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns. Those numbers show a glimpse at just how talented Adams was and how much of an impact he can have.

For the Packers to make the playoffs and make the deep run that they are looking to have, Adams is going to need to be a superstar. He is ready for that challenge and another massive season would cement him among the league's elite wide receivers.

All of that being said, here are three last-minute predictions for Adams heading into the 2019 season.

Davante Adams, Packers

3. He Catches At Least 120 Passes

Catching 111 passes last season was a major shock by the Packers' wide receiver. Green Bay hasn't had a receiver that dominant in some time and Adams has come a long way over the last couple of years.

This season, Adams will one up himself. Even though he shocked fans last season, he will end up coming through with at least 120 receptions this year. Aaron Rodgers wants to get the ball in his hands as much as possible and that will show itself on the stat sheet.

2. Adams Will Finish the Season as a Proven Top-5 Receiver

There are some who want to see another season with the kind of production that Adams gave the Packers last season before calling him a top-five receiver. He is going to do just that this season and then some. Adams is going to have an even bigger year than he had in 2018, thanks in large part to Matt LaFleur's new offense.

He will make plays down the field, over the middle, on screens, and in many other ways as well. Adams will be in the conversation with names like Julio Jones, Odell Beckham Jr., and Antonio Brown by the end of the season.

1. Green Bay's Star Receiver Will Rack Up 17 Touchdowns

Finally, Adams is going to have an even bigger season when it comes to finding the end zone. Rodgers feels extremely comfortable targeting him in the red zone and down the field, which will result in 17 touchdown receptions for the 26-year-old receiver.

Adams caught 13 touchdowns last season in an offense that was outdated and predictable. LaFleur will figure out new ways to get him open and it will translate in more trips to the end zone. He will have to do some serious planning for new touchdown dances this year.
