As if game announcements couldn't get any crazier, Behaviour Interactive and the developers behind the asymmetrical multiplayer action-horror game, Dead by Daylight, have decided to announce an insane new project set within the Dead by Daylight world called “Hooked by You“.

This teaser trailer for Hooked on You showcases four different companions, each of which is a dangerous and deadly killer featured in Dead by Daylight, including the Trapper, the Huntress, the Wraith, and the Spirit. As one of the beachgoers visiting Murderer's Island, your job is to find love between these four killers or die trying. Just like with usual dating sim games, players will have to talk to the killers to learn more about them and choose the right words in order to dig deeper into their sensitive side, because if the player says the wrong thing, they must prepare themselves for a brutal end.
“Choose the right words to help them shed their inhibitions while unlocking deeply intimate sides of their personalities. How you play can earn you multiple unique endings for each Killer, from passionate true love to platonic friendship, to bitter loathing. Just like real dating!”
The overall public reception to the trailer for Hooked on You has been met with positive responses, as most Dead by Daylight fans seem to be excited for this twisted take on the franchise. Many users expressed that this game could possibly be a response to all the colorful but questionable “fanart” that has been shared on social media.
