Former NBA veteran Delonte West continues to make strides in his goal to get his life back on the right track. He reportedly had a job at the Rebound therapy center in Florida, which is the same facility that he previously attended, per The Athletic‘s Shams Charania.

Dallas Mavericks team owner Mark Cuban was a big part of how West was able to recuperate from his struggles. During his playing years, West had a couple of off-court involvements which included a case of illegal possession of firearms along with several encounters with financial difficulties.

Back in January of 2020, West was shown in a video getting beat up following an altercation on a highway in Washington D.C. Several months later, photos of West being homeless and wandering by himself on the streets of Dallas, Texas eventually surfaced online. It managed to get the attention of Cuban and he proceeded to find his former player at a gas station.

The multi-billionaire executive also paved the way for West to receive treatment and reunited him with his mother back in September of 2020. Since then, West has already been taken care of and is continuously making progress in life.

His last stint in the NBA was back in 2012 with the Dallas Mavericks. West eventually played for the Mavericks' G League-affiliate squad in the Texas Legends before suiting up in the Chinese Basketball Association from 2013 to 2014. He made it back to the Texas Legends in 2015 before officially retiring as a professional basketball player.

Hopefully, Delonte West can continue to make progress and turn his life for the better moving forward.
