DeMar Derozan continues to flourish this season with the Toronto Raptors.

Despite a tough Wednesday night loss to the Golden State Warriors, he cemented himself among the best to ever play in the north.

Late in the second quarter of the game, DeRozan hit a shot that made him the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Raptors franchise. The previous record was held by Chris Bosh who scored 10,275 before leaving in free agency.

Prior to Wednesday night, he became the team's all-time career leader in games played, a record also held by Bosh. According to Elias Sports, DeRozan joins Mike Conley and LeBron James as the only active players that lead their franchises in scoring.

One would think DeRozan could enjoy his accomplishment for a moment, but he instead told David Aldridge that his team is still not respected enough.

“We went six games with the NBA champions. We won a franchise record in games. We accomplished so much. And it seems we still don’t get our just due, like it was an accident.”

“We’ve been getting better every single year. And I think that’s been our motivation every time we go out there and play, no matter who we play against. We are a team that should be respected like all the other top teams in the league.”

Make no mistakes, DeRozan may get buckets, but he is still a team player. You can see the shot that put him in the record books below.
