His personality has often come off as brash, and at other times he ruffles the feathers of those around him.
The big man, in particular, has had a few run-ins with local sports media which led up to Tuesday night.
Cousins spoke to reporters about his love for the city, and how he wants to remain a King when his pending free agency comes.
When he asked two local reporters if they would love to have him back, their answer shockingly was no.
To his defense, that answer did come from a reporter he has been in conflict with.
There is no surprise, however, it was the same reporter who labeled Cousins a bully with no issue pointing out his flaws.
Next summer, a reported $200 million extension will be on the table for Cousins to remain in Sacramento.
The question is if he is willing to continue with more of the same for the money.
