No matter what he does, Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins cannot seem to shake off the critics and unnecessary media attention.

Boogie is regularly linked with trade rumors that have him heading out of Sacramento. As I type, the top three Cousins related search results on Google are stories that link him to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics.

He has also gained the reputation of being a ‘coach killer’ due to the revolving door of head coaches that have been in place over the last few years in Sac-Town. Many believe that dysfunction between Cousins and the coaches has played a part in their firings.

The former Kentucky prospect certainly could carry himself in a more professional manner from time to time, as he has been known to partake in histrionics on the court when things don’t go his way. There can be no doubting his commitment to the cause, however; Cousins averaged 26.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game last year.

Reports suggest that Cousins has lost weight over the summer and will be heading into next season in the best shape of his professional career.

One of the best possible ways for an elite athlete to deal to escape the stress of the limelight is to head to somewhere that resembles paradise, swim with their dogs, and ride a jet-ski with their friends. It seems as though that is the option Cousins went for, as you can see from the video that he recently tweeted.
