Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was not afraid to tell it how it is when it comes to new addition Ty Lawson.
When asked by reporters post-practice about what it's like to play with his new point guard, he was a “a little” too excited. See for yourself.
He quickly caught himself after seeing the reporters' reactions and said, “I thought we were just having a conversation.”
Cousins apologized shortly after and corrected himself saying Lawson was “extremely quick.”
If anything, he gets a pass as it is still the preseason and it might take a little more time for him to warm up to the media once again.
Lawson and Cousins are likely to start at the beginning of the season, at least until Darren Collison finishes serving his eight-game suspension.
