Part of the “baptism” NBA rookies go through is being asked to do to some hilarious things for their team and its veterans. The Sacramento Kings seem to take this tradition to heart and make sure their first-year players continue to do some tasks regularly.

Last month, Omri Casspi gave Georgios Papagiannis, Skal Labissiere, and Malachi Richardson backpacks that they had to use. The only problem? They were for kids, as seen through their Frozen and Finding Dory designs.

And now, it's DeMarcus Cousins‘ turn to continue the rookie's initiation as he asked Labissiere to remove his shoes after their practice.

Labissiere is also a Kentucky product, just like his two-time All-Star teammate, and that may be the reason why he was hand-picked by Cousins. He did the task without hesitation and the two shared a good laugh in the process.

It will be interesting to see what these rookies will do to the Kings' draft picks next year. They won't be running out of antics for sure as the team's veterans are clearly “experts” on these.
