Denmark and Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered a frightening experience on the second day of Euro 2020 last month when he suddenly collapsed on the pitch. While he's since been on the road to recovery, the first sighting of the former Tottenham man has been made in his native country.

Christian Eriksen had to be resuscitated against Finland on June 12th by the medical staff after suffering a cardiac arrest. Thankfully, they brought him back and he was recovering at a nearby hospital which was actually very close to the stadium.

While it's good to see him out and about, his future as a footballer remains unclear after the incident. Nevertheless, Eriksen will be extremely proud of his Denmark teammates, who have made a historic run all the way to the semifinals at Euro 2020 after beating the Czech Republic on Saturday in Baku.

Christian Eriksen's absence in the Denmark squad made a lot of people think they had no chance of success in this tournament, but they've defied all the odds. Now, the Danes await their opponent at Wembley on Wednesday, which will be the winner of the England and Ukraine clash in Rome.

All in all, it's good to see Christian Eriksen recovering at a steady rate.
