The Denver Broncos have jumped out to a 2-0 record with Teddy Bridgewater at the helm and are atop the AFC West with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Broncos haven't had much difficulty, either. They defeated the New York Giants by two scores in Week 1 and then beat the Jacksonville Jaguars by 10 in Week 2.

Next up for Vic Fangio's squad is a battle against the New York Jets and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. Wilson is coming off a porous four-INT outing against the New England Patriots and still looking for his first NFL victory.

But can the Broncos advance to 3-0 and continue their hot start to the season?

Broncos Week 3 Predictions

4. Teddy Bridgewater plays well once again

The Broncos traded for Teddy Bridgewater to bring in some quarterback competition with Drew Lock. Then Bridgewater was named the starter and has looked more than worthy of the job. Bridgewater has thrown for 592 yards with four scores and zero interceptions through the first two games, and most of that has been without Jerry Jeudy.

The Jets secondary is suspect, and expect a massive game from Bridgewater, potentially throwing for 350 yards with another pair of touchdowns.

3. Broncos defense frustrates Wilson

Zach Wilson has not had an easy start to his career. He's had to face the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots and has thrown for a respectable 468 yards and two scores. But he has thrown five interceptions, and the turnovers are concerning, especially after the Patriots' game.

Now Wilson has to face the tough Broncos secondary that picked off rookie Trevor Lawrence twice in Week 2, and there is reason to believe that Wilson should toss at least another pair of interceptions against the Broncos on Sunday.

2. Javonte Williams runs wild

This game is a perfect opportunity for the Broncos to get rookie running back Javonte Williams going. Williams has 109 yards on 27 carries through the first two games, and Melvin Gordon has 132 yards on 24 carries, with the only rushing score of the season for Denver.

Nonetheless, this is a chance for the Broncos to lean heavily on the running game, assuming they jump out to a comfortable lead and start to play conservative football. There is a shot that BOTH Williams and Gordon rush for 100 yards and a score, but the Broncos should take this opportunity to feed the rock to Williams often.

1. Broncos hold the Jets out of the endzone

After last week's performance against the Patriots, the Jets will look to rebound. Unfortunately, this Broncos defense is a good one and will get under Wilson's skin. The Jets have just two touchdowns through two games and didn't get into the endzone last week.

That trend could continue again against the Broncos, although a couple of field goals should be in-store, at the very least. The Jets likely fall to 0-3 as Wilson tries to find his footing in the NFL.
