The Utah Jazz already have a tall order ahead of them as they try to win against the top seeded Golden State Warriors in their Western Conference Semifinals matchup. If only having one day to prepare for Game 1 wasn't enough, the Salt Lake City team received more bad news ahead of the first game of the series.

One of their key players, Derrick Favors, is considered questionable to play on Tuesday night as he is suffering from lower back soreness, which could keep him sidelined.

The 6-foot-10 big man played a crucial role for the team when they defeated the L.A. Clippers to advance to the second round. In seven matches, he averaged 10.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. More importantly, he provides the team with another rim protector, especially when Rudy Gobert is on the bench.

Favors is expected to receive plenty of treatment throughout the day to give him a chance to suit up on the night. Should he be forced to sit out the game, Boris Diaw and Jeff Withey will see an uptick in their minutes as they try to fill the void left by the 25-year-old Georgia Tech product. The Jazz fans are hoping that the soreness will subside and he will be able to play, as they need all the help they could get to upset the heavily-favored Warriors team.
