Derrick Rose has had a motion to dismiss the civil sexual assault case against him, denied by a federal judge.
A trial is set for October 4th in Los Angeles, on allegations that Rose participated in a group rape.
The full accusation claim is that that Rose, and two of his friends broke into the alleged victims home in Beverly Hills, and raped her.
She also stated the men drugged her prior to the rape incident.
Rose, has maintained his claims of innocence and says that he feels justice will be served.
The trial schedule as is, guarantees that Rose will miss out on a portion of New York Knicks training camp, and possibly beyond if the trial is not settled quickly.
