With the Detroit Lions Week 11 matchup being against the Cleveland Browns, now might be the time for this team to earn its first win on the season. It's been ugly for Detroit, but they could take advantage of Cleveland. We take a look at this Lions-Browns game with some of our Lions Week 11 predictions in mind.

The defense is the best part of the Lions roster, which isn't saying much. Detroit has been dealt a bad hand in regards to injuries hitting their secondary. They'll need their front seven to dominate if they hope to catch the Browns off guard.

With Jared Goff not playing, Detroit could be in a whirlwind of trouble. However, they have some nice weapons that could give Cleveland fits. Look for Amon-Ra St. Brown to potentially make an impact, while TJ Hockenson aims for a much better performance. Additionally, D'Andre Swift could be in for a massive game. With that said, here are four bold Lions Week 11 predictions for their matchup against the Browns.

Lions Week 11 Predictions

4. Lions defense bottles up Baker Mayfield

This might be an impossible task, but it's necessary if the Lions hope to win. With Cleveland's wide receiver core being mediocre at best, Detroit has a chance to take away the passing attack from the Browns. Nick Chubb is likely to run all over Detroit, so they should focus on bothering Baker Mayfield instead.

The goal should be to put Mayfield in uncomfortable situations and force the Browns into third and long scenarios. Doing so decreases the chances of Chubb running the ball. If the Lions can pull this off, they could be in for a massive upset on Sunday.

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown reels in his first career touchdown

Although Amon-Ra St. Brown hasn't quite jumped off the page, he's having a decent season for a fourth-round rookie. The Lions have a terrible wide receiver room, but St. Brown has flashed potential throughout the year so far. Considering Detroit is nearly eliminated from the postseason race, they should let it fly and give St. Brown more opportunities to shine.

2. TJ Hockenson bounces back with 100 yards receiving

TJ Hockenson disappeared in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Had he found a way to get more involved, the Lions might have pulled out the victory. Hockenson is one of the best young tight ends in the league and will have better games down the road. He should be the main receiving weapon on Sunday, especially with Jared Goff not playing.

1. D'Andre Swift goes bonkers for 175+ yards and 2 touchdowns

He's already proven to be a workhorse, as the Loins have utilized D'Andre Swift in nearly every facet of the game. He should be the first, second, and third option for Detroit's offense against the Browns, as they'll need Swift to be at his best on Sunday.

Look for the coaching staff to get D'Andre Swift going early. They're likely to establish the run to control the clock. Swift should also be Tim Boyle's best friend, as Swift should be active in the passing game as well. We'll see how it plays out but be prepared for the Lions running back to establish himself as one of the elite players in Week 11.
