With history on the line, the Phoenix Suns crowd put loyalty aside last night when its home team took on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Russell Westbrook was on the verge of breaking the record for most triple-doubles in a season and the crowd was behind him, cheering the away opponent. Westbrook came up just shy of the record, missing out on two assists short of the historic milestone.

But the cheering didn't sit well with every Suns player.

Devin Booker said he took it personally and who can really blame him? It has to be awkward to hear your own crowd supporting an opposing player so strongly.

At this point in the season however, the Suns fans know what the team is and that's not a playoff contender. In light of that, with history on the line, many fans probably just wanted to see a first in the sport's history so you can't exactly kill them for supporting Westbrook either.
