After Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia appeared to have intentionally tried to injure Kawhi Leonard in Game 1 of their Western Conference Finals series, LaMarcus Aldridge responded by also looking to do the same trick on Kevin Durant, by sliding his foot under him on his three-point attempt.

In Game 3, Dewayne Dedmon was also seen doing a “dirty” play, when he set a screen for his teammate on Stephen Curry.  The replay showed clearly that he bent his knee to hurt the reigning two-time MVP and potentially get him injured.

Fortunately for Curry, he was able to stand up quickly and did not appear to get hurt on the play. The Dubs were also able to pull off the victory on the night, 120-108. More importantly, they are now only one win away from making it to the Finals for the third straight year, where they will have another chance of winning the title.

It remains to be seen if Dedmon will receive a sanction from the NBA, but it can be expected that the league office will not take it lightly, and will review the play. Should they deem it as purposely trying to hurt Curry, he could receive a fine or even a suspension for it.
