After a disappointing 2015 season, the Dallas Cowboys are riding high behind rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas has won their last four games, including two without injured star receiver Dez Bryant.

On his new show, FS1 personality Skip Bayless said that he hopes the Cowboys' recent wins without Bryant will give him an ego check. Here's the quote:

“I hope Dez Bryant is getting the message that the Cowboy world no longer revolves just around him. I’m hoping the Dez cloud is starting to lift off the Dallas Cowboys because these are the new Dallas Cowboys. I’m not saying that they’re gonna be better off without Dez Bryant, I’m saying they’ll be better off without the old Dez Bryant.”

A Cowboys fan responded in support of Dez being a team player, to which Bryant himself said:

Bayless took exception to Bryant's tweet, claiming that he's been a Cowboys fan since 1961:

It's hard to know what to believe with all of the things Bayless says and has said on his shows. Either way, he probably learned the lesson not to mess with Dez, because he'll put the work in to dig up old dirt.
