You're not going to find many NBA players with a better sense of humor than Dirk Nowitzki.
This time, Nowitzki took to Twitter to wish Mavericks owner Mark Cuban a happy birthday, and also take a little shot at the billionaire.
This is just classic Nowitzki:
Dirk was made very happy this summer by Cuban with a two-year, $50 million contract. That's a lot of money for the 38-year-old Dirk, who is probably not quite worth that in the twilight of his career. It's almost more of a gesture and thank you by Cuban to reward Dirk with a contract like that. Basically the opposite of what happened between Dwyane Wade and Pat Riley with the Miami Heat.
Cuban doesn't shy away from the jokes, either:
Cuban is one of the best owners in all of sports and Dirk is a franchise player any owner would dream of having for his entire career. We're getting to the end of the road for Dirk. His play and his sense of humor will be missed when he's gone.
