Kevin Garnett hasn't even been retired for a week and already has job offers to coach.

In 2015 when asked if he would ever coach an NBA team, he answered in typical Garnett fashion.

Just recently, the future Hall of Famer joined the Los Angeles Clippers in training camp on Thursday to do a little coaching.

Garnett was asked in 2015 if he would ever coach an NBA team, and he answered in typical  fashion.

So it was a bit surprising to see Garnett visit the Clippers to give some coaching lessons to the team.

Would he ever join a team as an assistant coach? According to Doc Rivers he would have a job in a heartbeat if he wanted to.

I would have absolutely been interested in bringing him here. You always find a place for a guy like that, whose voice in the locker room is so strong, so clear, so impactful.

Garnett did work with the Clippers big men and Rivers told the LA Times he was pleased with the results.

K.G. was phenomenal today. This morning, before practice, he had a teaching clinic that you would pay a lot of money to see. It was great. It was great for Blake and D.J., and the young guys as well. It's great to have him around. He's a great teacher. … He'll be really good for us.

The practice session was held at UC Irvine where Garnett was able to reconnect with ex-teammate Paul Pierce in his last season before retirement to catch up.

According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, Cavs coach Tyronn Lue also wants Garnett to help him coach, but hasn't managed to get him to pay a visit.

Garnett is expected to visit the Cavs for the ring ceremony on opening night.
