Muhammad Ali has been receiving tremendous support from athletes and sports figures alike since his passing last Friday. Amongst the people he touched was Doc Rivers who had a personal connection with Ali when the “Greatest” reached out to him in his playing days. According to Rivers, Ali reached out to him to play for the Louisville Cardinals when he was a star player for his high school basketball team but he ultimately ended up going with Marquette.
