Just because he's no longer on the same team as Max Scherzer and Trea Turner, it doesn't mean Juan Soto can't cheer for his former Washington Nationals teammates during Wednesday's National League Wild-Card game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Soto went absolutely bonkers when the Dodgers beat the Cards, 3-1, thanks to Chris Taylor's walk-off homer.

Soto appeared to be having the time of his life watching Scherzer, Turner, and the Dodgers from the stands at Dodger Stadium. He basically dropped his persona as a professional baseball player and became a fan straight up for this game.

Soto, however, isn't just some player — or fan. He is one of the best players in baseball today, having finished the 2021 MLB season with a triple-slash line of .313/.465/.534 with 29 home runs and 95 RBIs for the Nationals. He's someone the Dodgers surely would love to have, but for now, he's an untouchable asset for the Nationals, who will continue to build around him.

There is a lasting bond between Soto, Scherzer, and Turner. Apart from the fact that they used to be teammates in Washington, they also won the World Series when the Nationals defeated the Dodgers in the Fall Classic in 2019. Who knew that two years later, all three would be at Dodger Stadium cheering for the team they defeated in that World Series to win in a postseason game.
