This is the second time in the span of a few weeks that L.A. won a major sports championship. The Los Angeles Lakers also bagged the NBA title a couple of weeks back, which also resulted in some wild celebrations from adoring fans.

Things got a bit out of control when Lakers fans celebrated their championship, with several injuries and arrests reported as the celebrations escalated to rioting. There was some of that as well with the Dodgers, though this always seems to happen when teams with a title. Luckily, it doesn't seem like there were any serious injuries, and there were plenty of peaceful celebrations. out there as well.
